Our Worship Services

St. John’s Lutheran Church, a congregation of the Allegheny Synod is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).

St. John’s Lutheran Church is empowered by the Holy Spirit, is a witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This body of baptized believers in fellowship with Jesus Christ, invites all to worship, learn, and serve people everywhere, beginning with our community.

Our 10:45 a.m. Sunday service is a traditional Lutheran liturgical worship service. Holy Communion varies currently.   Service of the Eucharist will be on November 3 led by Pastor Karl Runser.  Service of the Word will be led by Bob Voigt on November 10,  Roger Glad on November 17, and Spence Garvin on November 24.

Our focus is on bringing the good news and hope of Jesus Christ to those who hunger for His love. We seek to provide a warm, healthy, and welcoming environment where all people from all walks of life may come to learn, fellowship and enjoy all that God has for them.

Worship is at the core—the very heart and center—of who we are as God’s people at St. John’s Lutheran. It is in worship that God’s word is proclaimed. In worship we partake of the sacraments that mark us with the love of God. By our acts of worship we are called and empowered to serve the world. All are welcome in our community of faith.

St. John’s Lutheran Church Millheim is currently using Google Meet in order for members to access our weekly Sunday worship service virtually if unable to attend in-person.  Please contact the church office to be added to the guest list.
